The Rev. Brian Williams a native of Cleveland, Ohio, is a program director with responsibilities in Lilly Endowment’s religion and community development divisions. Since 2016, his efforts include pastoral development and congregational flourishing, the preservation of churches with historic designation and helping congregations better serve their communities. Before joining the Endowment, Brian served as a pastor in United Methodist congregations in North Carolina and Indiana. He holds degrees from Duke Divinity School (MDiv), the University of Michigan (MBA) and Purdue University (BS, management/marketing).
