Dr. Sherri Session is the Project Coordinator for the IU Health Spiritual Care System. She is also a certified Companionship trainer for the IU Health Congregational Care Network and a Team-Based Spirituality facilitator.
Sherri has completed a chaplaincy internship at IU Health West Hospital Research Literacy 101 course through Transforming Chaplaincy. In addition, Sherri is an ordained deacon and minister at Progressive Baptist Church in Indianapolis, where she has served in several capacities, including Executive Minister. Sherri serves on the board of Pathways to Promise, a multifaith and multicultural mental health support organization that addresses the need for comprehensive mental health support for persons with mental health conditions and those around them.
Sherri earned a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from Purdue University, a Master of Divinity, and a Doctor of Ministry from Christian Theological Seminary.
